Welding Iron

The autumn wind rises

 Devastating your face

 Your hair wet from perspiration

The thunderous thud of welding iron

 Deaf to your ears

Your eyes do not desire any joy

Your face

The most tender

 Lost in this inconsolable chaos

I fail to recognize

Your loving hands

Oft’ soften with my tears

Are estranged from me

The autumn wind rises

Devastating my face

My hair wet from rain

The thunderous thud of welding iron

Echoes in my ears

Like a sweet piece of music

From the grey forgotten days
